Kiai-shouts during Kendo-practice

Kiai is the shout we are bringing out during kendo practices when we hit the adversary or the kendo ptactice partners and it's a strong shout.

The good part is we don't force out vocal corda shouting each time we shout and we shout a few hundred time each training because the shout is coming out from our lungs. Filling in the lungs in such manner the diafragm is pushing the stomac down (this is were the expresion "breeding with our stomac is coming from") and filling out fast out lungs after that produces the strong kiai shouts you are hearing in the next video.

Some people may seem this range but in you get in a real fight (purely theoretically) if you shout strong to somebody and the adversary is starting to run away frightened or horrified you don't have to fight with him anymore and it's better than to take his head with a sword.
